- Celeste is a 21 year retired Army National Guard, and 25 year Paramedic. I fill in when needed for dog walks and cat sitting as well as giving care to the boarding dogs. - Military veteran both Air Force and Army. Retired Metro logy Engineer. Always have had dogs since childhood..currently 4 Dachshunds,1 Chihuahua, and 2 Chiweenies. Nurtured 4 paralyzed Doxies back to full capacity through the years. New Jersey native, have lived on three continents, visited 48 states, 17 countries, and served with the Berlin Brigade where the Wall separated the Germanys. Been with my partner Gayle 15 years. Joined Midges Dogwalkers August of 2018 and love all my fur friends.

DELIGHTFUL WAY FOR ME TO TAKE VACA!
I have a 4 year old shy border collie/chow. She was a rescue (at 2) and is very scared of new people. I looked at kennels as I was about to take a 3d vacay and a future 10d vacay and knew it wasn't for her. I heard about Midge through a neighbor and all my dealings with her have been very professional and altogether fantastic.
Midge was very responsive to my e-mails. We did a meet and greet for about 20m to go over everything. She left behind her insurance certification, and a pen/book for when the walkers come to write about what seems to be just notes on bowel movements of my dog (she's a dog, it's not like they had conversations, haha). Midge was very understanding of all requests that I may/may not have had. She offered to take photos and send text messages after each walk, and etc... I was content without them.
We set up another time to do a trial run and my pup responded very well. I handed over my keys and left for vacation. On my request, I received a text message once a day that spelled out anomalies (like she hasn't pooped) and victories (like when she finally pooped). It looked like my doggie was also warming up to Midge and her team (Celeste).
When we came home, everything was as expected and Midge also followed up with a call just to make sure we got home on-time and etc.
Would recommend and this is a delightful way for me to take a vacation and not have to worry about my pup.

MY DOG LOVES THIS COMPANY!
My 15-year-old bichon, Maggie, is a very nervous and anxious dog. Until we found Midge, we could not use a dog walker because Maggie was too fearful. Maggie and I are very happy we found Midge!
Update: We adopted a ShihPoo end of September 2015 and Midge & Celeste have been taking care of her 2 times a week ever since. They are WONDERFUL and Petey loves them.

SHE IS TRULY AMAZING!
I have a 13 week old puppy and needed to find a responsible, reliable, caring person to come walk/take care of him. I won the lottery when I found Midge! Her love for animals truly is reassuring by her helpful and kind actions. She is very flexible, and is more than willing to go the extra mile for your dog. She shares a message book of what my pup did for the day, gives him lots of love and healthy treats, fun play time and walks. Not ony is she responsible, but she has helped me with teaching my pup new tricks! I have her to thank for teaching my Bentley how to go up and down stairs. She takes the time to work with him, teaching him new skills. She truly is amazing and I'm thankful to have her take care of Bentley.

FANTASTIC WALKER!
I started working with Midge a few weeks ago and she truly helps out a ton with my little puppy Duke! He's a happy playful boy but doesn't like to be alone for long and needs to be let out. He's a handful! Midge does a fantastic job at keeping me in the loop on how he was that day. I'm sure Duke is just as thankful as I am that she comes to walk him :)

MY BOXER STELLA IS SO HAPPY! .....
My dog has been going to Midge for daycare M-F for a year now, as well as overnight boarding while I go away. She takes great care of my dog and really cares for her like she is her own. She goes over and above what is expected.
Update: She is still going to Midge's M-F for daycare. She picks her up and drops her off and she boards overnight when I am away on vacation and business trips. Stella is always happy and tired.

I have been using this dog walking service for over a year. They are the kindest and most gentlest people you can counter. They are consistent and extremely thorough. They have help me out of a couple of jams as well! My dog has been boarded in their services well and I have nothing but good things to say. I was able to go on vacation with a clear mind knowing that my baby is in good hands. If you are looking for a dog walker your search is over.
Update: 2/26/18 We had a baby 6 months ago and stopped using Midge's service while my wife was home with our baby boy. As soon as my wife went back to work we called Midge and she took us back happily. Penny Lane was so happy to see her walker Barb again.

YOU REALLY AREN'T GOING TO FIND A BETTER WALKER!
My little Chloe is a 4 month old Boston Terrier. Since my boyfriend and I work full time, we needed someone to come by and take Chloe out during the day. I called a number of different dog walking services but none of them seemed to come close to Midge. What I love about Midge's services is that she not only takes them out, she plays and helps to train them too! When we first got Chloe she was so small that she was afraid to go down our apartment building stairs. Well what do you know, one day I receive a video from Midge (she sends text updates daily if you want - which I love!) of Chloe going down the stairs by herself!! Such a big accomplishment and Midge was a big part of that - and Celeste too :-)
She is very reliable, compassionate, helpful and flexible. You can tell she really cares about animals and she truly loves what she does. Chloe and I are so happy we found Midge. You really aren't going to find a better dog walker!

I HAVE AN 8 YEAR OLD RESCUED BLACK LAB WHO IS BLIND .....
and was initially a little bit timid. As soon as I adopted him, I found Midge's dog walking service and I couldn't be happier with my find. Bandit has really come into his personality and I know that that is due in part to the attention that he gets from Midge and her staff. They are compassionate, reliable and clearly have a love for animals. I know he looks forward to, and enjoys, his afternoon walk, potty break, treat, and head scratches. This is the best dog walking service in the area!
Midge also does overnight boarding! There is a pick up and drop off service which makes things a lot easier when I am already stressing out with packing and preparing myself for a trip! I know that my dog is safe when boarding with Midge and is getting the proper amount of attention.

How do I request or cancel service and pay for services?
This is all done through the "client portal". You can request a service or cancel a service directly through the portal. You can also pay directly through the portal using your credit card.
Is your business Insured & Bonded?
Yes we are fully insured and bonded while in your home as well pet boarding in our home. You can rest assured that as well as your pets being protected that your home is as well.
How do I know when a walker has completed their visit?
We notify you after our visit through email along with a picture of your pet on their walk that day. We also offer GPS tracking when requested to verify the route/walk they went on that day
Will you always have someone to send to my home to take care of my pets?
Yes, you will never receive a call from us stating we could NOT make a visit to your home. We always have someone that can complete a scheduled walk
Will you still complete a walk in inclement weather?
Yes, we walk in any weather except if a "State of Emergency" has been issued.
How do you hire your walkers/pet sitters?
All of our walkers/sitters are asked to perform certain tasks prior to even being considered for a job.
They are all given background screening, and reference checked (past employers).
They must LOVE ANIMALS and be comfortable with "all breeds" as we walk large and small breeds.
